Purrfect Birthday Watercolor Splash Birthday Card with Lexa

Hi everyone! Lexa here again with another inspiration for your projects. And today I'm going to share a card that highlights the Purrfect Birthday Stamps and the coordinating dies. If you are a cat lover then this set is absolutely a must have. It has a lot of adorable kitties, even for me who's not really into cats ... I can't resist it. Let's get started right away.

I first created the watercolor background using Mustard Seed and Wild Honey Distress Inks. I dab some of the inks on acrylic block and spray it with water. After it has the consistency that I want, I press it on the paper right away. Make sure you use watercolor paper so it won't absorb too quickly. I blow on some watery part to create the lines. It was so much fun! Anyone can do it, just don't be afraid to make mistakes.

Then I stamped the super cute kitties with Versafine black ink and watercolored them with Distress markers. After finished with the coloring, I die cut each of them with the coordinating dies. This can save you a lot time, plus it adds a perfect white border around them. Don't forget to add rosy cheeks for extra cuteness. I adhered them with foam tapes and for some of them such as the birthday cake, I use doubled.

Birthday Balloon Subtle Stamped Background Card with Vanessa

Hey everybody! Vanessa here with a Birthday Balloon card. I might have mentioned before how much I love the balloons! Here comes today's card:

I first stamped the bold balloon image with grey ink onto a white cardstock panel and added spritzes of ink all over it. Then I lightly inked the background and stamped the sentiment. 

After I had adhered the panel to the card, I stamped the three balloons onto white cardstock, die-cut them with the matching die and adhered them with foam tape. I drew strings with a black marker and finished the card off with matching enamel dots.

Born To Sparkle One Layer Stamped Background Card with Franci

Hi there and happy Wednesday! Franci here with you today with a sparkle card featuring the Born to Sparkle stamp set.

First, I created my card base out of some white cardstock. I selected some dye inks and started to create the background. I started stamping all of the little sparkling elements included in the set, starting from the top left corner and working my way to the bottom right corner, to create a sparkling trail or a diagonal decorated pattern.

Then I stamped my sentiment and added some drops of glossy accents here and there.

Ric Rac Borders Ombre Shaker Card with Nancy

Hey there Sunny fans, Nancy here today with a look at the Ric Rac Borders dies. I love how this set includes three very different shapes of ric rac and multiple sizes. The minute I saw it, I wanted to create something with a bold design punch!

I started by ink blending a strip of white cardstock with Distress Inks in Fossilized Amber and Abandoned Coral. Then I used the largest Ric Rac Border die repeatedly to create a beautiful ombre range. 

Next, a small shaker box was created with the Fancy Frames Circles dies. The kitty is from the Purrfect Birthday stamp set and was colored with Copic markers. Last, a sentiment from the same set was stamped in black ink.

The Ric Rac Border dies adds a pop of bold color and design to this birthday greeting. The tiny stitching detail adds a warm touch of handmade goodness!

Bold Balloons Pink & Yellow Heart Balloons Birthday Card with Eloise

Hi friends, Eloise here and today I'll be using the Bold Balloons stamp set to create a birthday card that is super fast to make and also easy to replicate.

To begin my card today I first stamped out the heart balloon from Bold Balloons using two colours of pink and a yellow onto a separate piece of paper. I used three shades of each colour and layered them up accordingly. I started off with the outside line layer first and worked backwards for this particular stamp as it was easier for me this way. Once they were all stamped, I die cut them out using the coordinating dies. I set them off to the side and moved on to the next step.

I cut down a piece of cream cardstock that has natural flecks in it just for a little interest. Then I used the large Celebrate word that comes in the set and stamped it on the bottom right hand side of the cardstock in black ink. I also used the additional 'Your Day' sentiment underneath it. I then laid over my balloons where I wanted them hovering over the sentiment and stamped the balloon strings accordingly, making sure they connected to the sentiment. I then popped up my balloons on foam tape and adhered them on top of the strings. Lastly, I cut down a piece of grey patterned paper that had stars on it and adhered to a card base. Then using more foam tape I adhered the entire panel onto the other side of my card base.

That finishes up my simple birthday card, I hope you enjoyed and were inspired to create a fast birthday card.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Karin Akesdotter

Hi everyone! It's Karin Akesdotter here from Peppermintpatty's Papercraft. I'm so excited to share a new card that I've created with Sunny Studio Stamp's spring 2018 release!

I made a panel by layering striped and polka dot paper. I also added a lacy edged die cut using the Stitched Scallop dies. I die cut the Wishes Word die from white cardstock and adhered a few layers of that to create dimension.

I then stamped, colored and die cut the adorable ballerinas and some sweet roses before adhering them to the card with foam adhesive and adhesive tape. Finally I made a card base and adhered the panel to it with foam adhesive.

For this card I matted a white card base with green polka dot patterned paper and then die cut a panel from Neenah solar white cardstock. I stamped my cats and then masked them so I could ink the background. 

When I was done inking I spattered the background before I removed the masking. I used Copics for the coloring and then added some adhesive dots. I adhered the panel to the card using foam adhesive.

I made a panel from striped paper and adhered it to a scalloped black card base. I also added a lacy edge die cut with Stitched Scallop dies. I die cut the Wishes Word die from white cardstock and adhered a few layers of that to create dimension.

I then stamped, colored and fuzzy cut the adorable ballerina, two pairs of ballerina shoes and some sweet roses before adhering them to the card with foam adhesive and adhesive tape. Finally I made a card base and adhered the panel to it with foam adhesive.

Tiny Dancers Hexagon Stamped Background Card with Lexa

Hey guys! Lexa here today with a card that highlighting Tiny Dancers Stamps and the coordinating dies, I mix it with other stamps and dies collection too. Let's get started right away.

I just can't get enough of this Tiny Dancers, they are the cutest! You must knew it by how often I use them on my cards. I stamped each of them with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to die cut the images. Never forget to add more glitters on their tutus with some Stickles. 

I got a better idea than using patterned paper as my background, I make one with Quilted Hexagons Stamps. First I stamped the dashed quide lines with espresso dye ink and fill in each hexagons with different patterns. You can match each hexagons with your own color palette... just how wonderful that is.

I framed each ballerinas with Fancy Frames Square Dies and create the backgrounds using Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Evergreen Bough and Spiced Marmalade. I use silver foiled paper to die cut the Sparkle Word Die and add some glitter to add more spark. The sentiment to complete my card is from Born To Sparkle Stamps. Last but not least, I add some flat clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh here and there. I'm so happy with the result, it's colorful and encouraging at the same time.
